United Kingdom–Poland Military Partnership

When Britain pledged to defend Poland in 1939, few could have predicted how enduring that security relationship would become. Today, Poland is one of the UK’s closest military partners in Europe, united by a strong commitment to NATO, historical ties, and a shared concern over Russian aggression. The UK leads a NATO battlegroup in Estonia, while Poland is rapidly modernizing its armed forces with British and NATO support.
